EMIS Access

EMIS Access is an online service offered by the clinical computer system EMIS to allow patients to perform certain tasks online. The system links into the practice clinical system and allows the patient, once they are registered for the service to Book appointments online, request repeat prescriptions, alter contact details, without having to ring or call into the practice. 
 

Services available: 
  
Online Booking - Registered Patients can book routine appointments with a GP through Patient Access. This service also allows you to review and cancel any appointments that you have booked at the practice. 
  
Repeat Prescriptions - Patients who receive regular prescriptions from the Practice can request a repeat prescription from the practice by logging onto Access and ticking which drugs are required. The Dr then either accepts or declines the request and the patient is notified. 
  
Change Patient Contact Details Online - The system allows you to change your contact details online, so the surgery always has the most up to date details for you as a patient.
